Looking for a local hockey club?
NWSHA is composed of a variety of hockey clubs welcoming beginners to elite players of all ages. Competitions range from affordable grass to participation in metropolitan and representative turf and indoor competitions. Smaller clubs can offer younger players the opportunity to play with experienced players in metro competitions often not available in larger clubs. Email club administrators for more information.

The Family Friendly Club in the Hills
We have mixed junior teams from U7’s (5-6years) to U17’s.
Games are held either Friday evenings or Saturday mornings from late March to September on artificial turf fields. No games are usually played through school holidays. Training is held at our home field at Pennant Hills Park.
We have senior teams playing in the SHA and NSWHA competitions.
Men’s competition games are usually played Saturday afternoons and occasionally Sundays at various fields in Sydney. Women’s competition games are held Sundays at various fields in Sydney. Training is held at our home field at Pennant Hills Park.

Blacktown Kings Hockey Club, previously known as Kings Langley Hockey Club was established in 2008 to provide local access to hockey in the Blacktown Area.
Over the years we have fielded U7 to Open Age sides, won a few premierships and had players gaining representative honours.
Now, in conjunction with Hockey Blacktown playing opportunities exist for 6 to plenty year olds both locally and in established competitions across Sydney for beginners to experienced players.

Macquarie University Hockey Club is a fun and social local Club based on the Upper North Shore of Sydney. Established in 1970, Macquarie Uni HC offers on average 10 teams ranging from men’s, women’s and vets.
Macquarie Uni has teams across Sydney Women’s Metro League, Sydney Men’s Premier League, right down to the local, less competitive competitions in Sydney.

SLHC is hockey club based in the Blacktown Council area (Glenwood, The Ponds, Stanhope Gardens, Quaker Hill, Acacia Garden, Rouse Hill, Scofields, Riverstone, Seven Hills, Box Hill) to promote hockey. Our main target is to develop hockey among kids. We are currently in process to put two (2) men's teams in the Sydney comp and aim to have junior competition teams by 2024. Many ex international and national hockey players are attached to this club from several countries to give guidance to our members.

Wenty is the largest hockey club in the Dundas-Parramatta-Wentworthville-Blacktown areas of Sydney. We have been established for over 40 years and our 'workers' are volunteers who are very committed to ensuring our club runs as professionally as possible. We’re focused on providing our members with a friendly, family-oriented environment.
Wenty has teams to suit all levels of experience and skills for junior girls and boys from 5 to 17 years old and for senior women.
West Rugby Women's Hockey Club
West Rugby Womens Hockey Club is a small social club and was originally established in 1979 with support from West Rugby Union Club. Our club plays under NWSHA and consists of 2 senior women's grass teams (which play on Saturday afternoons at Meadowbank). We are unable to field a turf team unless we can find enough interested players. Over 35 aged registered players are also welcome to trial for NWSHA masters' teams. This is now run through the association.
