Representative Field Hockey

NWSHA offers a range of representative field hockey opportunities for junior, open and masters players. Our programs include:

• Under 12 development experiences
• Under 14 - Under 18 junior representative teams
• Open Men's and Women's representative teams
• Masters' representative teams

The representative field season typically commences with trials for various age groups in late February or early March each year.

An intended schedule of trials, training and competition for each program is published on our website early in the field season, once turf bookings have been confirmed and the schedule has been prepared by the Representative Committee.

The association and its committees are run by volunteers - 'many hands make light work' and the health and ability of the association to run and deliver successful programs relies on members volunteering to assist. EOIs are communicated to our members and posted on our socials and website early each new year calling for volunteers across a wide range of roles. We are always looking to grow our volunteer base so even if you only have a small amount of time to spare, we encourage our members to complete a volunteer EOI, as there are always tasks to be done that support our representative programs.
