
NWSHA offers Opens players the opportunity to play representative hockey at the HNSW Field Hockey State Championships for Men and Women in Opens, Division 1. For 2026, the Division 1 events will be held at the Illawarra Hockey Centre, Unanderra from 6-8 June.

General Information
- Travel - Players are responsible for all travel arrangements to and from scheduled events
- Accomodation - is not organised at tournaments for Open NWSHA teams this year. Players are required to make all necessary accomodation requirements if needed.
- Uniforms - NWSHA provides playing shirts for all selected team members. These form part of the playing uniform for all carnivals / tournaments and will be collected by the Team Manager at the end of the last event. All other components of the team uniform are required to be purchased - further information is available from your team manager
